AASC Cares Spotlight: Community Food Drive at Axis Residential

Posted By: Maria Curtis AASC Cares,

At AASC, we believe that community service is a vital part of who we are as an organization. Through our AASC Cares initiative, we proudly highlight the efforts of our members who are making a positive impact in their communities. Whether it's volunteering, organizing drives, or supporting local causes, our members are dedicated to giving back.

One inspiring example is Axis Residential, where Community Director Sarah Stampka and her team have made a significant difference through their Community Food Drive. Over the past two months, they collected and donated an impressive 378 pounds of food. Sarah shared that the company chose this project to directly support those facing food insecurity in their community. Recognizing that access to food is a fundamental need, the team came together to help alleviate that burden and strengthen their sense of unity and purpose.

Sarah explained, "Our company chose the food drive community service project because we wanted to make a direct, positive impact on those in need within our community. We recognize that access to food is a fundamental need, and many people in our area face food insecurity, especially during certain times of the year. By organizing a food drive, we can contribute to alleviating that burden and show our commitment to supporting our neighbors."

At AASC, we are proud to showcase stories like these because they demonstrate the incredible impact our members have in their communities. If your company has been involved in a community service project, we want to hear about it!
