El Paso County Affordable Housing Directory

The rising cost of living can make it difficult for families with limited incomes to secure housing. To help address this need, the El Paso County Economic Development Department has created an Affordable Housing Directory. This valuable resource is designed to support both residents and the community organizations that assist them by offering detailed information on housing options for low-to-moderate income households.

The directory includes:

  • A countywide map of affordable housing developments

  • Contact information for the management offices of each development

Crime Level Data by Neighborhood
This dataset includes all criminal offenses reported to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). Please note the following when reviewing this data:

  • Each case report (incident) can involve multiple offenses.

  • Each offense may include multiple suspects and/or victims.

  • Important: This dataset does not follow the same counting rules as the official data submitted to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

    • As a result, direct comparisons to CBI or FBI data may be inaccurate.

The data is organized based on crime level by neighborhood, helping you better understand trends in your area.

My Neighborhood Update
The My Neighborhood Update site offers interactive tools that allow you to explore calls for service data from participating agencies across the country. Here are a few key things to keep in mind when using this data:

  • The information reflects calls for police service, which may or may not lead to a formal case report or further investigation. These are referred to as “events” because they represent service calls, not necessarily confirmed crimes.

  • Data is updated multiple times per day.

  • Sexual assault crimes are not included in the data uploaded by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

  • Corona Solutions is responsible for defining the categories and classifications used in the data.

  • Full addresses of reported events are not provided.
