Honoring Excellence: 2026 AASC Installation and Awards Banquet Winners
The Apartment Association of Southern Colorado is made stronger every day by the dedication, leadership, and service of our members. At this year’s Installation and Awards Banquet, AASC had the privilege of recognizing a select group of individuals who went above and beyond during the 2025–2026 year.
AASC congratulates each of this year’s award winners and Hall of Fame inductees. Members are encouraged to celebrate their achievements and reflect on the leadership and service that continue to elevate our industry.
Supplier of the Year: Logan Goraczkowski
This year’s Supplier of the Year demonstrated exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to both the multifamily industry and the Apartment Association of Southern Colorado.
With a deep-rooted connection to the industry, Logan has stepped into key leadership roles, serving on committees, councils, and the Board. Known for being dependable and proactive, Logan consistently contributes wherever support is needed.
His growth, dedication, and willingness to lead have made a meaningful impact on the direction and success of AASC.
Owner Operator of the Year: Angie Gibson
Angie Gibson exemplifies leadership with purpose and a strong commitment to giving back to the industry. Her involvement with AASC reflects consistent support, active participation, and a willingness to serve.
Known for stepping up when needed, Angie brings enthusiasm and energy that help strengthen both membership and community engagement.
Her leadership and generosity continue to make a lasting difference across the association.
Volunteer of the Year: Lara Cartagena
Lara Cartagena represents dedication and consistency in action. Her leadership includes chairing a council, serving on multiple committees, and contributing at the board level.
Her commitment extends beyond AASC through ongoing involvement in community initiatives and organizations.
Lara’s energy and service-minded approach continue to strengthen the foundation of the association.
Ambassador of the Year: Alisa Martinez
Alisa Martinez plays an essential role in connecting and engaging AASC members. As an ambassador, she ensures communication remains consistent and effective across the association.
Her reliability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities make her an invaluable part of the member experience.
Through her efforts, members remain informed, involved, and connected.
2026 Hall of Fame Inductees
AASC was proud to introduce the inaugural Hall of Fame Award, recognizing individuals whose lasting contributions have significantly shaped the multifamily industry, the association, and the broader community.
Dean Weidner
Dean Weidner was a visionary leader whose impact extended far beyond Colorado Springs. As the founder of Weidner Apartment Homes, he created housing opportunities for thousands while building pathways for industry professionals.
His influence helped drive economic growth, community development, and long-term investment in the region.
Dean’s legacy reflects leadership, innovation, and service. This award was accepted on his behalf by Greg Cerbana.
Rick Cordova
Rick Cordova dedicated his career to the multifamily industry through his work with Arlun, Inc., fostering both business success and a culture of giving back.
His creation of the Arlun Bucks program continues to support AASC education and professional development initiatives.
Through scholarships and mentorship, Rick has helped countless members grow and advance their careers.
His legacy is defined by generosity, leadership, and a commitment to supporting others.
