The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) require that training is provided to maintenance and custodial personnel that work in areas where asbestos containing materials (ACMs) are present. The trainings will cover the following:
-Health effects of asbestos
-Review of where possible ACMs could be in the facility
-Recognition of ACM damage and deterioration
-EPA/OSHA requirements related to housekeeping
-Proper response to asbestos releases
September 14, 2020 9:30AM - 11:30M -2 Hour OSHA Asbestos Awareness (for office personnel) - $150 per student
September 14, 2020 9:30AM - 1:30PM -4 Hour OSHA Asbestos Refresher (*Must have completed the 16-hour certification to take the annual refresher required*) - $200 per student
September 14 & September 15, 9:30AM - 5:30PM BOTH DAYS -16 Hour OSHA Asbestos Certification (for maintenance and managers) - $315 per student
