The AASC Chili Cook-Off Is Back and Better Than Ever!

Turn up the heat and join us for one of AASC’s most flavorful events of the year! The 2026 Chili Cook-Off brings our multifamily community together for an evening filled with delicious chili, creative booths, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to connect.

Come hungry and get ready to:

• Sample red and green chili prepared by AASC members
• Taste delicious desserts
• Vote for your favorite chili and booth
• Cheer on competitors in our returning Derby Car Race
• Enjoy drinks, networking, and friendly competition with fellow AASC members

Think Your Team Has What It Takes?

Gather your team, perfect your recipe, and create a booth that attendees will remember. Competitors can enter a red chili, green chili, dessert, or a combination of categories. Your booth decorations are also part of the competition, so choose a theme, get creative, and go all out!

Not competing? Grab an attendee ticket and help decide which team will take home the People’s Choice and Best Booth awards.

New This Year: The AASC Derby Car Race

The competition is moving beyond the chili pot! Teams can build and decorate their own derby car and race it on the Santee Metal Works Derby Track.

HD Supply is providing the official wheels and axles for each derby car. Racers will compete in one of three divisions:

• Maintenance Teams
• Property Management Teams
• Supplier Partners

Derby car rules, building instructions, and registration information will be provided to participating teams.
