AASC Cares for CityServe Day

Join AASC CARES for CityServe Day as we partner with COSILoveYou to give back to our Colorado Springs community. This is an opportunity to serve alongside fellow AASC members while making a direct impact at the Salvation Army Family Hope Center.

Age Requirements: Ages 18+. Adults only

Is this project appropriate for those with limited mobility? No

What to Expect at This Project:
The Salvation Army Colorado Springs Corps provides critical support through social services and ministry to individuals and families in need. Volunteers will assist with indoor and outdoor spring cleaning and beautification at the RJ Montgomery Family Hope Center, including organizing donation spaces and goods and writing notes of encouragement.

What to Wear:
Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes

What to Bring:
A water bottle

Optional donations are encouraged. You may bring clean, gently used clothing or new toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and feminine hygiene products.

Where to Park:
Please park in any open spots in Employee Parking on Rio Grande or Sierra Madre, or use street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Where to Meet:
Check in on the side of the building on W. Rio Grande St.
