Karen Kelly-Braem is a partner at the law offices of Springman, Braden, Wilson and Pontius, P.C. with offices in both Wheat Ridge and Colorado Springs. 

Karen has been working in the legal field for 35 years (20 years as a paralegal and 15 years as an attorney).

She was general counsel at 2 large collection agencies in the Denver Area.  One agency collected primarily bank debt, and the other agency collected primarily medical debt nationwide.  She has also  worked in the areas of family law, probate, personal injury, bankruptcy and real estate law. 

As a partner at Springman Braden Wilson & Pontius, P.C. she now focuses on the representation of property owners, and property managers. SBWP specializes in evictions, collections and community property account management.  The firm offers the proverbial one stop shopping.  In any one day the office will field questions concerning Fair Housing, Emotional Support Animals, Mobile Homes, Crime Free living, and legislative updates, in addition to the typical eviction and collection matters.

Karen’s specialty lies in collections and consumer related bankruptcy issues and she has continued her passion of training others.
