Laura Nelson

Mrs. Nelson joined AASC in May of 2000 as Education and Government Affairs Director. In March 2005, she was promoted to Executive Director. Prior to joining AASC, Laura was employed in a management capacity at various large and small companies. She attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology in 2002 from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In 2005 she received a Masters of Public Administration from the Graduate School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado. Laura is a native of Colorado Springs where she resides with her husband and five daughters.
