Event Details

Assistance Animals allow people with disabilities to access the world in new and exciting ways. But assistance animals also have been greatly debated in the public arena for a long time. Carrie Ann Baatz, Community Training Coordinator with The Independence Center will discuss the ins and outs of this important topic, including:

  • The difference between service animals and emotional support animals.
  • The two types of animals that qualify as service animals.
  • Whether you need proof that a animal is a service animal.
  • The two questions you can legally ask about service animals.
